Biographical history

Doreen Sanderson (1937-2015) was a student in the Department of Secretarial Science at Waterloo College from 1955 until her graduation in 1958. Doreen Sanderson, a native of Kitchener, Ontario, married Gordon Mackenzie Smith on August 6th, 1960. Doreen (Sanderson) Smith was a teacher for more than thirty years, holding the position of Business Department Head at Mitchell District High School.

Scope and content

The fonds consists of material created and accumulated by Doreen Smith during her years at Waterloo College. Includes photographs, playbills, programs, brochures, event tickets, newspaper clippings and other material.

Series 1 contains 2 scrapbooks of Waterloo College memorabilia, and notations. These books were created by Doreen Sanderson in 2008.
