Administrative history

The Wilfrid Laurier University Retirees Association (WLURA) exists for retired staff, faculty, and administrators to maintain contact with the university and other retirees. Founded in 1996 as the Wilfrid Laurier University Association of Retired Faculty, the association, membership was open to all retired faculty, librarians, and senior executives. In 2001 membership was expanded to include any retired employee of Wilfrid Laurier University. WLURA is a member of the College and University Retiree Associations of Canada (CURAC).
