Biographical history

Keith Knights (19- - 1986) was an alumnus of Waterloo Lutheran University (now Wilfrid Laurier University) in Waterloo, Ontario. A bass-baritone singer, Knights regularly performed in campus theatre and the university choir. In 1968 he represented Waterloo Lutheran University in the Sixth Select Choir, composed of vocalists from 33 Lutheran colleges in North America. He graduated with a BA in Near Eastern studies in 1970. Knights died in a motor vehicle accident in 1986. In 2001 Wilfrid Laurier University established the Keith Knights Memorial Award scholarship, presented annually to an undergraduate student in the Faculty of Music.
