Great Lakes Fishery Commission

The Great Lakes Fishery Commission was established by the Convention on Great Lakes Fisheries between Canada and the United States in 1955. The major responsibilities of the Commission are to develop coordinated programs of research on the Great Lakes and recommend measures which will permit the maximum sustained productivity of stocks of fish, and to formulate and implement to eradicate or minimize sea lamprey populations in the Great Lakes. The Commission consists of four Canadian commissioners and four American commissioners. These papers represent papers from Fred Frey, commissioner in the 1970s, and Henry Regier, commissioner in the 1980s.

This series contains maps, brochures, final MAB reports and background articles.
