This series contains records pertaining to the history of the Canada District of the American Lutheran Church, the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Canada, its pastors, programs and congregations. It includes interviews, reports, promotional material, correspondence, autobiographies and written histories dating from 1913 to 1983. The series includes source material for George Evenson's Adventuring for Christ, M.O. Waldahl's journals, written histories on the ELCC and the Canada District of the American Lutheran Church and records from pastors including: Jacob B. Stolee, August Herman Scheffler, Peter Frostad, H.W. Kahre, George Senfj and David Schaefer.
