The series contains issues of Geographical Inter-University Resource Management Seminars, published by the Department of Geography at Wilfrid Laurier University.

Geographical Inter-University Resource Management Seminar (GIRMS) was a symposium of students and faulty from several universities in southern Ontario. Members of government and the private sector also participated in program preparation and in individual seminars. From 1967 to 1985, GIRMS met bi-monthly to discuss the resource management process. Papers of the participants were published by the Wilfrid Laurier University geography department.
