Scope and content

This subseries contains source material on the ELCC's Abiding Magazine. It includes issues published from 1984 to 1985, correspondence, reports, surveys, proposals and budgets.

In 1982, the ELCC passed a motion at the Saskatoon General Convention that established a national quarterly youth magazine, entitled Abiding. Abiding Magazine's purpose was to encourage, support and sustain the youth of the ELCC, foster communication among youth groups and individuals across the country and to foster a voice for youth to express their concerns and ideas.
